Free Namaste SIM

KATHMANDU: Spice Mobile Phone is offering customers a free Namaste SIM card on the purchase of its S-570 (folding FM colour phone and S-650 (MP3 phone, 1GB expandable). Teletalk Pvt Ltd, the sole distributor for Nepal, has tied up with Nepal Telecom for distributing the free SIMs. Customers are required to furnish the necessary documents of personal details and proof of their citizenship along with passport size photographs. The Spice Mobile offer is for a limited period and the company has set up a service stall in Tamrakar House at Pako. The mobile sets carry a one-year warranty offer while the batteries and chargers have a six-month warranty. — HNS

CBIL’s new facility

KATHMANDU: Citizen Bank International Ltd (CBIL) has initiated its post paid mobile bill payment system. According to a press statement of the bank, an agreement was signed between CBIL secretary Ganesh Raj Pokharel and director of Nepal Telecom Lok Raj Sharma. The service will be provided free of cost. The bank also provides the free service of PSTN phone bills payment. — HNS
