Sunrise in Dhangadi

KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank Ltd opened its eighth branch in Dhangadi on Sunday. The bank will focus on effective expansion of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), said a press release. It will grant loans to all categories of entrepreneurs and give good interest rates on deposits. Interest rate is 6.5 per cent per annum on Sunrise normal savings account. — HNS

SDB’s shares allotted

KATHMANDU: ACE Development Bank Ltd allotted ordinary shares of Subhekchhya Development Bank (SDB) on the 67th day of the closing of its IPO. SDB’s 1,20,000-unit shares with face value of Rs 100 each were allotted to 6,672 people. A total of 68,956 persons, including 12 employees had applied for the 80,83,000-unit shares of the bank. — HNS

NICB donates blood

KATHMANDU: NIC Bank organised a blood donation drive at its corporate office in Kamaladi, on Saturday on the occasion of its 10th anniversary fiesta. The drive was held in association with Nepal Red Cross Society, said a press release. Last year also, the bank held a blood donation drive. This year, 145 people donated blood in a three-hour long programme. — HNS
