KATHMANDU: Sanu Maya Shrestha, mother of former president of Nepal Chambers of Commerce and current president of Nepal-China Chamber (NCC) Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, died on Friday. Shrestha, 71, was under medical treatment at Om Nursing Home. for cancer since long. Her last rites were held at Aryaghat. — HNS

Nimbus’ traffic island

KATHMANDU: Animal food manufacturer Nimbus in coordination with Bharatpur Minicipality and Narayangarh Chambers of Commerce and Industries built a traffic island at Chaubisi Chowk of Bharatpur municipality. The island was made to maintain the beauty of Bharatpur, Chitwan, a press release read. Chitwan is the largest chicken farming district in Nepal. — HNS
