RBB earns profit

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has posted a growth in operating profit by 34 per cent to Rs 210.7 million during the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2007-08. The state-owned largest commercial bank has earned the net profit of Rs 764.1 million during the same period. The level of non-performing loans (NPLs) have also dropped to 25.8

per cent in comparison to 32 per cent in the same period last year, states a press release. The bank plans to make Rs 1.70 billion net profit during this fiscal. — HNS

ICTC awarded ISO
