KATHMANDU: Business community expressed their solidarity with HAN for their decision to scrap service charge in its Chitwan chapter. At a press meet, Prakash Shrestha, president of HAN, said they have been forced to take this decision, as the members affiliated to the different trade unions did not follow the commitment they had made earlier. βIt has become very difficult for us to run the hotel in such circumstances,β he said. Basanta Raj Mishra, president of NATO; Surendra Bir Malakar, president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Binod K Chaudhary, president of CNI also expressed their solidarity with HAN. β HNS
RMBFL holds AGM
KATHMANDU: Royal Merchant Banking & Finance Ltd (RMBFL) held its sixth AGM in Kathmandu on Friday. The bank posted net profit of Rs 6.7 million in the fiscal year 2062-63 and Rs 16.38 million in the fiscal year 2063-64, states a press release. β HNS
