Nepse ends in green

KATHMANDU: Nepse on Monday ended on a positive note after a continuous fall for last one month. Though the secondary market ended in the red on Sunday, the first day of the trading, on Monday it closed in the green with 5.28 points gain to 761.17 points. Nepse managed to regain momentum with a buying spree of hydropower companies and commercial banks scrips posting 10.46 points or 0.87 per cent and 8.26 points or 1.13 per cent growth in their indices, respectively. The sensitive index gained only 1.76 points or 0.91 per cent at the day’s close. However, development banks group is still in red with 1.84 points or 0.17 per cent fall. It bore the brunt of early volatility and end the day in loss. — HNS
