KATHMANDU: Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd (MBL) is opening its 13th branch at Itahari of Sunsari on Wednesday. the branch will provide 365 days banking service and evening counter also, states a press release. Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd is also planning to open more branches in Ilam, Dhankuta, Abu Khaireni, Baglung, Narayangarh, Butwal and many other places. Farmers to get relief

MADHYAPUR: The District Agricultural Office (DAO), Bhaktapur is providing relief for hailstone-affected farmers of 16 different village development committees (VDCs) of Madhyapur Thimi and Bhaktapur Municipalities. A meeting of the District Natural Disaster Rescue Committee held under the chairmanship of Dilli Prasad Adhikari, chief district officer has decided to provide the relief. According to the relief distribution programme, the hailstone-affected farmers will be provided seeds of winter vegetables worth around Rs 2,00,000 and wheat seeds worth Rs 50,000, Dhirendra Kumar Karki, said senior agriculture development officer. — RSS
