NIC’s eleventh branch

KATHMANDU: NIC bank has opened its eleventh branch in Damak, Jhapa. “This branch will offer a full range of products and services that NIC is offering in other branches,” states a press release. NIC has posted 43 per cent increase in operating profits to Rs 303 million and 73 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 168 million in comparison to last fiscal years, claims the bank. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Kist Merchant Banking and Finance Ltd (KMBFL) - Bittaya Sanstha- and Nuage Focus SDN BHD signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for remittance transaction on Monday. Kamal Prasad Gyawali, managing director of KMBFL and Johan Mohriz Azmi, president of Nuage Focus signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisation in Kuala Lumphur, states a press release. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Sourya Shree Co Ltd has been appointed an authorised dealer of Ashok Layland Ltd, Chennai, a automobile production wing of Hinduja Group. It manufactures a whole range of automobile from 19-seater minibus to 80-seater buses; and from 7.5 tonne GVW mini-truck to 150 tonne GTW trucks, states a press release.
