Triyuga passes budget

UDAYAPUR: The 13th Town Council meeting of the Triyuga Municipality of Udayapur district concluded here on Thursday passing a budget of Rs 43.8 million for the current fiscal year 2064-65 BS. The council had also declared to observe this year as ‘Road Year’. The council allocated seven million rupees for two projects. — RSS

Inflation rises in India

NEW DELHI: India’s inflation edged higher to 4.10 per cent on the back of costlier food but was well within central bank targets. According to the wholesale price index — India’s most closely watched cost-of-living monitor — inflation stood at 4.10 per cent for the week ended August 11, up from 4.05 per cent last week. — AFP

Crude prices on hold
