Visa club member

KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank Ltd (SBL) has attained the Visa associate membership through Nepal Investment Bank Ltd (NIBL). SBL will also operate Visa card. So far, the bank’s 40,000 customers are using SCT debit cards. These Visa cards can be used locally and globally at ATMs and POS terminals. SBL has 30 ATMs in operation and has plans of adding more.

IDBL loan scheme

KATHMANDU: International Development Bank Ltd (IDBL) has brought International Gold Loan scheme. Under this scheme, customers can get loans ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 5 million against gold deposit. This bank has already been able to flow loans worth Rs 1.75 billion. IDBL, established in September 2009, operates from its head office at Teku and branches in Kathmandu’s Sukedhara and New Road, Pokhara city, Malangwa, Manthari and Inaruwa.

Sirapa’s AGM

KATHMANDU: Sirapa Savings and Credit Cooperative Ltd held its first annual general meeting in Shanti Nikunja Secondary School, Maruhiti, on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by the cooperative’s division office chief Rabindra Timilsina. The earnings and expenditure details of the fiscal year 2009-10 were presented and the kids involved in Khutruke Bachat Yojana were also awarded prizes.
