Nepal in Chinese fair
KATHMANDU: Nepali products are put on display at Canton Fair being held at Canton of China from April 15. The fair is being participated in by 314 foreign companies including Nepa. The fair is a biannual event that has been taking place in spring and autumn since 1957. It would last till April 30. The fair has a wide range of products from machinery, automobiles, IT, household electric appliances, building materials, jewelry and food and agricultural products. Nepali stalls are displaying silverware and garments, arts and crafts. — RSS
Oil prices rise slightly
VIENNA: Oil prices rose as traders weighed the restart of a key US oil refinery against expectations that US gasoline inventories would keep falling. The market was poised to react to developments in Nigeria amid concerns abut elections-related violence. Light, sweet crudewas up 42 cents at $64.03 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange by midday in Europe. — AP
