Dhakal Delhi-bound
KATHMANDU: Chandi Raj Dhakal, president of FNCCI on Tuesday left for New Delhi in an invitation of Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO). According to FNCCI, Dhakal is scheduled to meet with the founder of ‘One Village-One Product’ concept in Japan Dr Morihiko Hiramatsu and Osamu Watanabe, president of JETRO. During the meeting, he will discuss extensively on the expansion of the concept in Nepal. He will also take part in the regional meeting of Asia Trade Promotion Forum in New Delhi. — HNS
MAN gets new team
KATHMANDU: The meeting of 14th management committee of Management Association of Nepal (MAN) held on Monday has chosen a new executive committee under the chairmanship of Rameshwor Prasad Khanal. Dr Dinesh Raj Panta and Rajendra Kumar Khetan are the first and second vice-presidents respectively. Binaya Kumar Sharma is the general secretary and Narendra Bahadur Rajbhandari is the treasurer. Raghu Panta, Deepak Prasad Upadhaya, Ganesh Kumar Shrestha, Tej Kanta Jha, Gosai KC, Sushil Kumar Aryal, Ramesh Prasad Koirala, Asha Adhikari, Surendra Bahadur Khadka, Saroj Kumar Pradhan and Bal Krishna Prasai are the executive members, states a press release. — HNS
Tourism training held
KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP) organised a training programme on educational, bio-diversity conservation, lodge management, health and sanitation as well as precautions for a sustainable tourism development. The training was aimed at providing knowledge for the tourism entrepreneurs and workers. 26 participants took part in the workshop. — RSS
