FNCCI-FM meet

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) president Kush Kumar Joshi along with federation members on Monday met Minister of Industries Mahendra Rai Yadav and urged for immediate implementation of the Industrial Policy as per the suggestion offered by the private sector. Minister Rai voiced his commitment to implement the industrial policy and assured FNCCI of moving ahead on the basis of ideas offered by the private sector. — HNS


AKPL to start flight

KATHMANDU: Air Kasthmandap Pvt Ltd (AKPL) will soon launch its single engine aircraft service. According to a press statement, the company will provide its airline service mainly in rural areas of the country. It will start its services in the Far-western development region.— HNS


EBL’s new ATMs

KATHMANDU: Everest Bank Ltd (EBL) installed its ATM machines at Bhairahawa and Butwal on Monday, taking its ATM tally to 28. The ATM services at Butwal and Bhairahawa will benefit people of both Nepal and India, said the bank. EBL debit cards can be used in more than 2000 ATMs of Punjab National bank across India. Similarly, debit card holders of PNB can withdraw their money from any ATM of Everest Bank. — HNS
