CSCCL holds AGM

KATHMANDU: Civil Savings and Credit Co-operative Ltd (CSCCL) held its sixth annual general meeting (AGM) on Saturday. According to a press release issued here by the company, it has collected Rs 1,022,059,567 as deposit and invested Rs 1,007,271,892. It has also posted Rs 19, 492,079.39 profit in the fiscal year 2062-63 BS. Er Ichchha Raj Tamang, chairman of the Civil Groups, on the occasion, informed that the company will carry out its official operations from Civil Corporate Complex within this year. — HNS

BRUSSELS: Continued economic optimism and positive new unemployment data released on Friday confirmed that the economy remains buoyant in the nations sharing the euro currency as a recovery takes hold. According to official EU figures, economic optimism among EU businesses and consumers dipped slightly in December to 110.1 points compared to 110.3 points in November but remained well above its long-term average. — AFP
