Menon meets Tripathi

KATHMANDU: Indian foreign secretary Shiva Shankar Menon, who is on an official visit to Nepal, met with Hridayesh Tripathi, minister for industries, commerce and supplies at the latter’s office today. FNCCI flays attack

KATHMANDU: The FNCCI has flayed the attack on bullion trader Bikash Ratna Shakya who was on his way to home. Looters on the way had attacked him. Shakya is an executive member of Lalitpur Gold and Silver Association. FNCCI, issuing a press statement, has demanded action against the culprits and compensation for the victim. —HNS

NEFFA gives training

KATHMANDU: Executive members of the Nepal Freight Forwarders Association (NEFFA) gave training to about 40 customs officials to boost export and import trade. Namgyal Lama, president of NEFFA informed that the training workshop was mainly aimed at making customs officials more efficient. — HNS
