Bajaj DTSi gets a new look

Kathmandu: Bajaj Discover DTSi, which claims to be Nepal’s highest selling bike in the 125cc segment, has now come up with an all new innovative look to woo its customers afresh. The innovations made on the new Bajaj Discover DTSi are focused on its appearance. The headlight and the rear end lights have been provided with premium looks. The body graphics of the bike are more stylish with a techo-art colour combination. The new Bajaj Discover DTSi has been provided with a complete metallic black colour body that tends to accentuate its graphical innovations. Bajaj Discover was one of the first bikes introduced by Bajaj with DTSi power engine, ExhausTEC mileage and SNS Suspension. The DTSi power engine happens to be one of the most durable and reliable four-stroke engine to be introduced in the segment of motorcycles. Similarly, the ExhausTEC mileage technology provides a better mileage of 101 km per liter and a turbulence-free slow riding experience even at a high-geared mode. The SNS (spring-in-spring) suspension provides comfortable riding on any kind of road. While Pulsar DTSi has been positioned as the ‘lad’s bike’ and Kristal DTSi as the ladies bike, Discover is targeting the executives and office-goers. Yeti Airlines buys another aircraft

Kathmandu: Yeti Airlines has acquired a new British Aerospace manufactured aircraft on an outright purchase basis recently. The fifth Jetstream 41 aircraft, registered as 9N AIB, landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday evening. With this acquisition, Yeti Airlines has increased its seat capacity by 226 per cent than its nearest fellow airline and hopes to gain a greater market share, claims a press statement of the airlines. The airlines is currently enjoying approximately 60 per cent market share on key sectors, it adds. The new aircraft comes in Yeti’s own logo colour scheme and the rest of the Jetstream 41 fleet will also have the same livery in the near future. “We now have the largest fleet size with five Twin Otters and five Jetstream 41s,” informs the release. Yeti Airlines claims to have the largest network of domestic flights in the country ranging from the far east to the far west. It operates regular flights to remote airports such as Juphal (Dolpo), Simikot (Humla), Bajura and Jumla and carries the largest volume of essential supplies, commercial cargo and passengers to/from these places. On the trunk routes, it operates the largest frequency of flights to Biratnagar and Pokhara from Kathmandu. “With the addition of the aircraft, we aim at reinforcing flight reliability and increasing flight frequency as per the passenger’s demand,” claims the statement. — HNS
