Brand watch: NEC Versa notebooks — you can dance on ’em!

NEC Computers Asia Pacific today launched its new range of Versa notebooks and net book Personal Computers (PCs) in Nepal. International Electronics Concern Pvt Ltd (IEC), the authorised distributor, will be distributing the newly-launched Versa notebooks and net book PCs.
“It plans to spearhead the development of Nepal’s PC market through the latest innovations made by cutting edge Japanese technology,” said the company.
Although NEC Computers Asia Pacific has been in the Nepali market for the past several years, it now foresees the growth potential of the PC base on the current trend. Wu Teng Guo, managing director of S&SEA Sales said that its vast experience in the PC market together with IEC’s strong distribution network will help make NEC one of top five brands in the Nepali market.
IEC will also be appointed authorised service provider for NEC personal computers in Nepal. NEC — the number one computer brand in the Japanese market — has promised to bring the latest and the highest quality products to Nepali consumers. “It will bring the full range of NEC Versa notebooks. The net book PCs and Powermate desktop PCs are known for their high quality, performance level, toughness and endurance,” said Guo.
