Nepal Trade Network Pvt Ltd, sole distributors of Ajanta watches and electric goods, has launched a series of new products from Oreva lighting and Orpat in the market.

Kumar Das Ranjit, president of Nepal Electrical Association and Sanjoy Das, chief

executive officer of Ajanta Manufacturing Ltd jointly launched the Oreva products today.

The products include T-5 (Oreva J5) tube light and Orpat circuit breaker switch (MCB

& RCCB) ranges.

“After a huge success with Oreva lighting products like compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) and decorative lamps, we are entering in to the tubelight segment with T-5 Oreva series in the market,” said Das.

The T-5 lamps are smaller, slim and save up to 50 per cent power compared to conventional tube lights, claimed Das. According to him, these lamps are easy to install, light in weight, can start on low voltage and give better brightness.

Difference in length and socket pin design versus conventional fluorescent lamps prevent any problem with electric circuits or human factors.

Das further said that the company plans to increase its market share from the present 25

per cent to 50 per cent within a year. At present Ajanta, Orpat and Oreva jointly hold about 50 per cent market share in India.

The Orpat lifeguard circuit breaker switches (MCB & RCCB) are available in different ranges and are suitable for lighting and domestic loads.
