BRAND WATCH : Panchakanya launches PVC fittings

Panchakanya Plast Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Panchakanya Group, has launched SWR PVC fittings in the market today.
Pradeep Kumar Shrestha, managing director of Panchakanya Group unveiled the poly vinyl chloride (PVC) fittings manufactured for the first time in Nepal.
"The fittings are manufactured using injection moulding machine and come up with high quality rubber gasket that ensures leakage control," said Shrestha. These PVC fittings are applicable for all kinds of PVC pipes including Panchakanya pipes.
Panchakanya Plast also plans to export PVC fittings to India, Bangladesh and Tibet Autonomous Region of China. "We have received queries from these countries, as thickness, weight and colour of the products are of export quality," said Shrestha.
At present, the PVC fittings are available in 24 different models and priced at Rs 150-175 per kg. The products are applicable for drinking water supply, sewerage, household plumbing, irrigation and underground ducting.
According to Shrestha, the company plans to manufacture GI pipe fittings and agricultural fittings in near future.
