Syakar Company Ltd (SCL), the sole distributor of Hero Honda Motors Ltd in Nepal, announced the formal launching of the new model ‘Super Splendor’ today.

SCL has introduced the Super Splendor following the recent launch of Honda Unicorn.

Powered by a four stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine of 124.7 cc, Super Splendor generates a maximum power of 9 BHP @ 7000 rpm.

Multi-reflector headlight with an attractive new visor, contoured mudguard, flamboyant graphics and a newly-designed silencer gives it a distinctive look.

The newest entrant into the two-wheeler market, the Quantum Core Engine of Super Splendor, meets the fuel economy of its older versions, delivering a phenomenal mileage of 70 km per litre at the economic speed range of 30-60 Kmph. “The Hero Honda Splendor model has gained in popularity with its mileage efficiency, readily available spare parts and brand equity. Supported by strong performance and low operating cost, Splendor has grown widely in the market in the last five years,” said Laxman Ratna Tuladhar, director at SCL. Hero Honda Company sold over one million Splendor in India alone in 2004 and the figure for sales in Nepal stands at over 3,500.
