Brand watch: Two new liquor brands launched
Kathmandu, June 23:
Mc Dowell Nepal Ltd (MNL), one of the leading liquor manufacturers in the country, has launched two of its 40UP liquor brands — Lady Luck Gin and Dum whisky — in the valley.
These brands were already launched in other parts of the country, states a press release issued here today by the company.
MNL, a part of the world’s second largest liquor company UB Group, has acquired its highly advance technology in distillation in producing the new brands, claims the company.
“In fact we have ennsured a higher grade of extra neutral alcohal (ENA) and high bouquet spirit (HBS), and then supervised a
prologned marrying time for
the blends to again ensure a higher level brand,” says Bhaktabir Singh Tuladhar, director, MNL. Avialable in 750 ml, 375 ml and 180 ml packaging, the brands are priced at Rs 245, Rs 125 and Rs 65 respectively. The new brands look forward to lead the market in the 40 UP segment of the market in the valley now.
