Brand watch : Yamaha brings new Gladiator Deluxe

Morang Auto Works (MAW), the sole authorised distributor of Yamaha in Nepal, has brought a new version of Gladiator Deluxe with a 125 cc engine, 5-speed gear, self start with drum brakes.
The new Gladiator Deluxe will start a new trend in biking lifestyle in Nepal, states a press release. “Gladiator Deluxe brings with it the added values of superb performance and safety with the renowned YTPS system that Yamaha boasts of allowing a mileage level that is the best in its class which is up to 76-km per litre.”
Powerful, aggressive and full of attitude ‘The new Gladiator Deluxe’ engine is a product of the latest, state of the art technology and features a 125 cc single cylinder churning out a maximum power output of 8.0kW (11 PS) at 7,500 rpm and a max torque of 10.4 Nm (1.06 kgf-m) at 6,500 rpm, a notch above most bikes in the category, and can be started in any gear and offers excellent corner handling.
Its unit is characterised by its 5-speed transmission, the first for a 125cc category bike, with optimised gear ratios. The bike is available in Deep Red Metallic, Black, Silver, and Deep Purplish Blue and is priced at Rs 1, 27,900.00.
