Kathmandu, February 3:

The price hike in the international market has resulted in the price hike of the precious yellow metal in the local market that registered a rise of Rs 210 per 10 gram this week against last week.

Price increment of petroleum products has resulted in the rise of gold price in the international markets, which touched $656 per ounce from last week’s $645 per ounce, states Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The local bullion market opened with Rs 15,100 per 10 gram on Sunday and closed at Rs 15,3100 on Friday.

Likewise, the price of silver also rose to Rs 326 per 10 gram from Rs 321.5. The US dollars has also depreciated against the major currencies in the market.
