Bullion prices increase
Kathmandu:
Gold price in the local bullion market has slightly increased this week, as the US dollar continues to depreciate against major global currencies. The price of precious yellow metal increased by Rs 85 per 10 gram in the local market.
The trading of hallmark gold that opened at Rs 14,235 per 10 gram on Sunday closed at Rs 14,320 on Friday, according to Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. The hallmark gold in the local market costs
Rs 16703 per tola. The gold price increased along the increase in the crude prices in
the international market as well as a slight drop in US dollar. The market remained constant for two days and the price rose to Rs 14,335 on Tuesday, but inched down to Rs 14,275 on Wednesday.
