Bullion rate does a fandango
Kathmandu, November 8:
Gold closed Rs 350 lower to drop to Rs 18,950 per 10 gram from its opening price of Rs 19,290 on Sunday. The bullion market this week did not witness more fluctuations due to the end of Tihar festival and the rising dollar value despite fall in the price of the precious yellow metal in the international market.
On Monday, it went up to Rs 19, 505 per 10 gram to come down to Rs 19,290 on Tuesday again. On Thursday, it closed at Rs 19,120 and continued to fall to close at Rs 18,950 per 10 gram on Friday.
Silver gained Rs 5.50 per 10 gram to reach Rs 296 on Friday from Sunday’s opening of Rs 291.60.
