KATHMANDU, MARCH 4
Padma Jyoti Group has announced a strengthened collaboration with Rich's India, aiming to enhance Nepal's foodservice and culinary ecosystem through deeper technical engagement, innovation, and customer support.
Rich's, a global family-owned food company founded in 1945 and widely recognized as a pioneer in non-dairy whipped toppings, has been present in Nepal for over two decades. The renewed collaboration marks a more strategic phase focused on chef enablement, structured technical training, and the introduction of global culinary trends tailored to the Nepali market.
Under the initiative, the two organizations will prioritize hands-on technical training, live demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing programs designed to support chefs, bakers, and hospitality operators. The partnership seeks to combine Rich's global product expertise with Padma Jyoti Group's established distribution network and market reach in Nepal.
Padma Jyoti Group entered the FMCG sector in 2007 through Sun International Incorporated Pvt. Ltd. (SIIPL), which has since built a strong presence in ice creams and frozen desserts across the country. The group stated that the enhanced collaboration will serve modern retail, bakery, and hospitality segments by offering high-quality products alongside technical guidance and ongoing professional support.
Pankaj Chaturvedi, Managing Director – Rich's India, MENA and Turkey, said the partnership aims to elevate culinary standards through innovation and strong local collaboration, enabling food professionals in Nepal to adopt global best practices while maintaining consistency and creativity.
The companies said the initiative represents a step forward in strengthening Nepal's evolving foodservice landscape through global expertise and local execution capabilities.
