KATHMANDU, MARCH 3
Huawei Enterprise has introduced state-of-the-art ICT infrastructure to support Nepal's banking and financial institutions, offering high-performance storage, lightweight cloud solutions, and intelligent campus and data centre networks.
According to the press release issued by the company, the solutions aim to ensure secure, resilient, and high-speed digital operations as the country's financial sector rapidly transitions toward digital banking, mobile wallets, online lending, and fintech services.
Huawei's high-performance enterprise storage provides ultra-high IOPS, low latency for real-time transaction processing, and financial-grade reliability with near-zero downtime. Its AI-ready architecture supports fraud detection, risk modeling, and data analytics, the Huawei Nepal noted.
The Data Centre Solution (DCS) offers lightweight, modular cloud infrastructure for banks adopting hybrid or private cloud systems, enabling faster deployment of new digital services and fintech applications.
Intelligent campus and data centre networks provide secure, always-on connectivity across branches, ATMs, and online platforms. Huawei's solutions also include SD-WAN, AI-driven traffic management, and robust cybersecurity frameworks.
Earlier this year, Huawei Nepal organized an enterprise ICT engagement session in Kathmandu, bringing together banking leaders and ICT experts to explore next-generation infrastructure solutions for a smarter, safer, and connected financial ecosystem.
