Butwal emerging as a share trading hub

BUTWAL: With the establishment of the office of brokers, Butwal Sub Metropolitan City has emerged as share trading hub in recent times.

Lately, the city is witnessing increasing stock transactions as new investors including students to high ranking officials enter the market. The Rastriya Samachar Samiti reports that Butwal is transforming as a new trading hub in the secondary market.

"The city is ideal for opening new brokerage firms as it houses many banks and financial institutions and it is also a trade centre on which the entire western region relies," said Kamal Tiwari, President of Nepal Investment Forum.

As per official stats, Butwal witnesses stockĀ  trade worth over Rs 10 million daily.
