KATHMANDU: Cimex Inc Pvt Ltd, the authorised distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co Ltd in Nepal, has announced a strategic bank financing tie-up with Prabhu Bank for BYD electric vehicles (EVs).
This partnership aims to make it easier for Nepali consumers to purchase BYD EVs by offering competitive financing options, as per a media release.
This financing arrangement will comply with the related directives and guidelines of the Nepal Rastra Bank, ensuring that customers are provided with a secure and trustworthy financing option.
Cimex is offering BYD ATTO 3 (Rs 6.49 million), the first sporty electric SUV in Nepal and BYD all-new e6 (Rs 5.90 million), the longest-range EV in Nepal in the market. With only a 20 per cent down payment, customers can now own the BYD ATTO 3 at Rs 1.298 million, or the BYD e6, at Rs 1.18 million.
