Kathmandu, January 13:

A team of carpet exporters and producers led by Kabindra Nath Thakur, president of Nepal Carpet Exporters’ Association (NCEA) left for Germany today. The team will participate in Do Mo Tex International Carpet Exhibition from January 14–17.

Carpet and Wool Development Board of the government and NCEA together will be disseminating information on Nepali carpet production at the event, whereas Patan Karnali Carpet Industry is promoting Nepali carpet through its stall at the event. Germany already is one the most important market for Nepali carpet exports and this participation is part of an effort to further boost market presence of Nepali carpets.
