KATHMANDU: Cathay Dragon (CD)has hosted the annual agency awards function here to honour and thank its top performing passenger and cargo agents in Nepal for their excellent service and continuous support to Cathay Dragon in 2016.

Charlie Stewart-Cox, general manager for South Asia, Middle East and Africa for Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon, presented awards to the agents, as per a press statement.

The 2016 top performing passenger agents were Sumegh Tours and Travel P Ltd, Osho World Travel Nepal Pvt Ltd, Serene Travels Pvt Ltd, Gorkha Vision Travels & Tours Pvt Ltd and Megabyte Travels & Tours Pvt Ltd.

Similarly, passenger agents delivering outstanding performance in front-end business was Jaya Travels & Tours Pvt Ltd. The passenger agent with the highest growth in front-end revenue was Rupakot Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd. The top performing cargo agents were World Freight Intl Pvt Ltd, Shangri-La Freight Pvt Ltd, Legend Cargo Pvt Ltd, Unique Freight International Pvt Ltd and Kumari Air Freight Intl.
