Cathay Pacific honours agents

Cathay Pacific Airways (CPA) honoured ten travel agents for contribution to the travel and tourism sector in Nepal during 2004. Speaking at the honouring ceremony, Bishwajit Ghosh, chief operating officer of Amravati Travels Pvt Ltd and general sales agent of Cathay Pacific Airways in Nepal said such honours would encourage travel and tour agents. Rupert Bray, country manager of CPA of India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan said that Nepal is a small but important market. Bray informed that the Cathay’s performance in Nepal during the year 2004 was by far the best with a growth of 58 per cent.
