KATHMANDU: Chaudhary Foundation (CF) has handed over transitional homes to 118 earthquake-affected families of Bhimtar, Sindhupalchowk.

The homes were handed over by President of Chaudhary Group Binod Chaudhary at a ceremony on Saturday. CF has speeded up the works to build 10,000 transitional homes that it had pledged to construct for those affected by April 25 earthquake, the company said.

Prior to this, CF has already handed over transitional homes in Dolalghat of Kavre, Machhegaun in Kathmandu, Changunarayan in Bhaktapur, and Burungchuli and Lokundole of Lalitpur.
