China donates $1m

KATHMANDU: The government of China is contributing $1 million to help developing and least-developed countries implement the WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement and to support the objective of full implementation of the agreement by all WTO members.

China’s donation to the Trade Facilitation Agreement Facility (TFAF) will finance the capacity-building support needed by developing countries to implement the agreement, as per a press release.

TFAF assists these countries in assessing their specific needs and in identifying partners to fund capacity-building activities.
