MORANG: Nepali chocolate industries are affected due to invasion of Indian chocolate and sugar smuggled into the Nepali market. Nepali products have to be sold at low rates after these could not compete with various Indian products that are being imported in by evading tax. Lack of policy to monitor the market has caused the problem in chocolate and other confectionary sectors, said Jaya Bhagawoti Confectionary Industry.
