Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and Nepal India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) today held an interaction programme with the Indian ambassador to Nepal, Shyam Sharan with a view to discuss issues related to inter-government committee meeting to be held between Nepal and India in the near future.

According to a press statement issued by CNI today, issues of reforming main customs points such as Birgunj, Biratnagar, Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj to smoothen trade and economic ties in the days ahead were discussed during the meeting.

Indian ambassador to Nepal, Shyam Sharan expressed the view that the forthcoming meeting of IGC would concentrate on Nepal-India business and commercial issues, said a CNI statement.
