KATHMANDU: A delegation of Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) led by its President Hari Bhakta Sharma met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday to draw the attention of the government regarding acute crisis of loanable funds in banks, volatile interest rates of banks to borrow and its adverse impact on private sector growth and the overall economy.

During the discussion, Prime Minister Deuba said that his government is committed to resolve the current crisis faced by the banks and borrowers and assured the CNI delegation that the government will soon launch some stimulus packages to break the current stagnation.
