Kathmandu, June 6:
Cosmic Air has added two more flights to Dhaka, connecting the two capital cities of Nepal and Bangladesh five times a week from today. The days added are Mondays and Wednesdays to the earlier - Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday schedule, states a press release issued here today. The only days when Cosmic Air does not operate to Dhaka are Fridays and Saturdays. Common timings have been kept for all days of the operation at 14:15hrs ex-KTM and returning at 17:10hrs from DAC. The new flights have been added with the arrival of the fourth Fokker-100 aircraft in the Cosmic Air fleet, adds the release. Cosmic Air also plans to fly to Kolkatta, Varanasi (Benares) and in the near future to Yangon in Myanmar. Cosmic Air is also awaiting the approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal for its service to Bhadrapur, using the Fokker-100 jet aircraft. It has been more than two months since the test landing at Bhadrapur took place. Cosmic Air has recently reintroduced its Frequent Flier programme whereby its passengers— both domestic and international — will be rewarded points that can be converted to free tickets in all the destinations. Cosmic Air is the only airline that can add award free tickets to its customers in both domestic as well as international sectors. The scheme also allows foreign residents to be members of the exclusive club.
