CSI provides vocational training

Small and Cottage Industries Office, Bara has provided different vocational skill development trainings to 265 people last year. 129 women and 136 men had participated in the trainings. According to chief of the small and cottage industries office, Tara Prasad Bhattarai, in the three month long training for making bamboo handicrafts at Prasauni VDC, four men and four women had participated. Similarly, in the three month long training of motorcycle repairing, nine people participated.

11 women were given doll-making training in Simara VDC. Likewise, three month training on sign-board painting, plumbing, embroidery training both for three-month duration and candle making and soap making training of one-week duration were also given in Kalaiyya. Apart from this, seven people were given carpentry training, eight were given general electrical training, 14 women were given haircutting training.
