KATHMANDU ; Dabur Nepal has awarded the winners of its competition ‘ Hajmola Khau, Hasau Harke lai’. The four-month-long contest that began on 31 Shrawan ended on 27 Mangsir. Some 1350 people took part in the rib-tickling competition that consisted of contributing funny articles and making Harke laugh. Eight persons have been selected the winners of the contest.

The role of Harke was enacted by prominent comedy TV star Sitaram Kattel who appears as Dhurmus in the popular TV serial “Meri Bassai”. After two rounds of elimination contests over the last four months, four finalists remained. The first prize for the final round of the competition consisting of a purse of Rs 1,11,111 has been bagged by Sahra Shrestha of Kathmandu, the second prize consisting of a purse of Rs 55,5555 by Anil Prasad Baskota of Bhaktapur and the third prize consisting of a purse of Rs 33, 333 by Sagar Guragain.

The winners were presented their prizes by Dabur Nepal sales and marketing head HS Bedi, Dabur Nepal marketing manager Abhay Prasad Gorkhali and Echo Advertising managing director J K Sthapit.
