KATHMANDU: The fifth regional final of Real School of Nepal (RSoN) 2017 has successfully ended for the Central Region-Kathmandu West on Monday.

The regional champion for the Central Region-Kathmandu West was Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute and participating students were Shayana Tiwari, Anusuya Chand, Abhiyan Khadka, Paribartan Shrestha, Akshobha Bista and Krish Thapa Magar, as per a media release. They will participate in grand finale to become Real School of Nepal 2017 in Kathmandu.

In the senior category, Tiwari from Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute bagged the award for ‘Extempore’, Megha Pant from Kendriya Vidyalaya for ‘Dance’ and Diwash Thapa Magar from Rising Star Higher Secondary School for ‘Football Juggling’.

In junior category, Krishna Verma from Arniko Secondary Boarding School was the winner for ‘Painting’, Yashaswi Ghale from Triyog High School for ‘3 Minutes to Fame’ and Bigen Kumar Shakya from Arniko Secondary Boarding School for ‘Score the Real Goal’. The sixth regional final will be held in Central Region-Lalitpur on June 30.
