MAW Vriddhi Autocorp is set to launch the Deepal Nevo Q05 electric SUV in Nepal next week, positioning the model as a premium compact SUV focused on comfort, design and technology.

The Q05 features a 2,735mm wheelbase and a spacious cabin, with reclining rear seats and a 540-litre boot capacity. The company said the model combines compact exterior dimensions suitable for urban driving with increased passenger and luggage space.

The SUV was developed through Changan's global design network, comprising 915 professionals from 31 countries and regions and led by Changan Global Design Vice-President and former Volkswagen Group design chief Klaus Zyciora.

The electric SUV will be powered by a 51.9kWh CATL lithium-iron-phosphate battery integrated with Changan's Golden Shield 2.0 battery technology. It supports 3C fast charging, with peak DC charging capability of up to 162kW.

According to MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, cumulative global sales of the model crossed 100,000 units on August 11, 2026. The company also said the Q05 led China's compact SUV sales for four consecutive months.
