Deepal S05, the electric SUV from Deepal, has achieved a five-star rating in the 2025 Euro NCAP safety assessment, reinforcing the brand's focus on advanced safety engineering and intelligent mobility.
According to the independent crash test results, the Deepal S05 recorded an Adult Occupant Protection score of 94 percent and Child Occupant Protection of 87 percent. The rating highlights the strength of the vehicle's structure, advanced restraint systems and a comprehensive suite of active safety technologies.
In Nepal, the electric SUV has drawn strong market attention since its launch and emerged as one of the most talked-about models in the segment. It was also a major attraction at the NADA Auto Show, where it received significant interest from visitors.
The Deepal S05 features several segment-first technologies, including remote in-and-out parking, augmented reality head-up display (AR HUD), a 14-speaker sound system with outdoor speakers, internet connectivity, a queen-size co-pilot seat, frameless doors and flush door handles.
The vehicle is powered by what the company describes as Nepal's most advanced EV battery technology, offering long life, fast charging and enhanced safety through its Golden Shield battery system, which supports over 5,000 charging cycles.
Deepal said the five-star Euro NCAP rating further validates its commitment to delivering globally tested, premium electric vehicles that meet international safety standards.
