KATHMANDU: NIMB Ace Capital Ltd has announced the promotion of Sachindra Dhungana to the position of general manager.
Dhungana, a qualified chartered accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nepal, has consistently demonstrated his dedication and expertise throughout his career, as per a press statement. He further strengthened his qualifications by obtaining a diploma in IFRS from the ACCA, setting a high standard for excellence in financial reporting and analysis.
With over a decade of experience in auditing, accounting, consultancy, and advisory services, Dhungana spent more than six years as an audit manager at SR Pandey & Company, Chartered Accountants, where he honed his auditing skills and contributed to the firm's success. Dhungana's journey continued with prominent roles at leading financial institutions.
He served as the head of the Business Support and Mutual Fund Department at NIMB Capital Markets Ltd for 1.8 years, where he made substantial contributions to the growth and development of the mutual fund sector in Nepal.
Prior to his promotion, Dhungana held the position of chief operating officer and chief of Finance Unit at Nabil Investment Banking Ltd for 2.5 years.
