Biratnagar, August 22 More than three-dozen business establishments in the Eastern Region, including Biratnagar Jute Mill, one of the the biggest industries in the region, are black listed by the Debt Information Centre (DIC).

Some of the prominent entrepreneurs of Biratnagar like Ambar Raj Poudel, Baija Nath Agrawal, Narendra Agrawal, Jaya Shah and Raj Kumar Agrawal of Biratnagar Jute Mill are black listed. Kanchanjunga Agriculture Udyog (Ashok Humagai), Trimurti Enterprises (Prakash Chandra Shah), Banshidhar Industries (Chandra Kala Aanchal, Sushil Shumser Rana), Nepal Craft and Carpet Pvt Ltd (Kamal Kumar Patwari), Indra Cinema Hall (Dhruva Kumar Shrestha, Man Laxmi Shrestha and Pushpa Kumar Shrestha) are also among the black listed.

Similarly, Alka Seller Mill (Puskar Koirala), Pashupati Siliket (Dharma Chandra Dangi, Niranjan Kumar Chaudhary), Dingla Pharmaceutics (Bal Chandra Khanal, Omkar Chapagai and Sarita Chapagai), Annapurna Overseas (Hari Dhanawat), Mayur Biscuits Industries (Kishan Kumar Dhanawat and Omkarmal Dhanawat), Arpana Readymade Udyog (late Narayan Das Sarada) and Everest Industries (Anandi Lal Jhunjhunwal, Jaya Narayan Sarada, Madan Lal Sarada and Pashupati Giri) are also included in the DIC black list.

DIC has black listed Star Textile (Chandmal Rathi, Dewaki Nandan Agrawal, Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal and Ramesh Kumar Rathi), Pathivara Jute Industries (Bhakti Prasad Sitaula, Bishnu Prasad Sangraula, Dharma Raj Sangraula, Rajeshwor Sitaula and Ram Prasad Sitaula), Sagarmatha Flour Mill (Dipak Kumar Agrawal and Pradip Kumar Agrawal) and Chandika Distrillary (Manju Devi Agrawal, Rabi KC and Sharada KC) also.

Likewise, R & D Chemical Industry (Damodar Sharma), Zenex International (Bimala Jain, Khem Chandra Jain, Ratna Lal Jain and Shree Lalwani & Company Zenex International), Lalwani And Company (Anil Kumar Jain, Anil Kumar Lalwani, Bimala Jain, Khem Chandra Jain, Nem Chandra Jain, Jain Impex and Zenex International) and Hotel Nilkantha (Satya Narayan Deyama) are also among the ones in the DIC list.

Swadeshi Cable Industries Pvt Ltd (Niraj Kumar Surana), Shiwalaya Metal Industries Pvt. Ltd (Bipul Kumar Jain and Khem Chandra Jain), Jain Impex (Khem Chanda Jain), Lalwani And Company (Nem Chandra Jain), Shyam Vegetable Oil Industries Pvt. Ltd ( Binod Kumar Agrawal and Shasi Agrawal), Seven Seas Holiday Home Pvt Ltd (Minu Thapa, Shiva Thapa and Sushi Narayan Singh Thapa) and Jaikali Biscuits and Confectionary Pvt. Ltd (Subodh Kumar Agrawal) are in the black list published by DIC recently.
