KATHMANDU: Daram Khola Hydro Energy Ltd (DKHEL) is set to issue an initial public offering (IPO). In this regard, DKHEL has appointed Laxmi Capital Market Ltd (LCML) as its issue manager, as per a media release.

The hydropower company is planning to issue 3.95 million units of shares worth Rs 395 million. An agreement was signed by Rajiv Sapkota, CEO of Laxmi Capital and Nar Bahadur Pun, chairman of Daram Khola Hydro, on behalf of their respective organisations. DKHEL is developing a 9.3 MW hydropower plant in ward 11 of Galkot Municipality in Baglung, of which 80 per cent of construction works have been completed already.
