DHANGADHI: Dhangadhi Cricket Academy is organising a two-day Talent Hunt programme from Sunday to select players for the Dhangadhi Premier League, a premier Twenty20 cricket tournament.

National coach Janga Bahadur Thapa will pick a total of 12 players of Far-western Region.

“The selected cricketers will be placed in Group D in the players’ auction and the six participating teams will pick one each in their squads,” said DCA President Subash Shahi.

The players will go into auction with the base amount of Rs 25,000. The DCA has already opened the registration for the auction slated for February 21.

Team Chauraha Dhangadhi, Mahendranagar United, CYC Attariya, Kathmandu Goldens, Rupandehi Challengers and Biratnagar Kings will participate in the tournament that kicks off on March 31.
