Kathmandu, April 30:

Dr Upendra Mahato, president of Non-Resident Nep-ali Association (NRNA) and Russia-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industries (RNCCI) has been awarded ‘Manager of the Year-2007’.

Free Economic Society of Russia and International Academy of Management in support of Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation have been organising the award competition since 1997, states a press release. He is the first foreign national to receive this prestigious award.

‘Manager of the Year’ award is the most prestigious and popular award and more than 2,000

business leaders from majority of Russian regions participate in the annual competition.
