EBL registers 29 per cent growth in operating profit
Kathmandu, February 13:
Everest Bank Ltd (EBL) has registered 29 per cent growth in its operating profits to Rs 337 million — based on the first six month’s unaudited records — in comparison to last year during the first six months of the current fiscal year.
The bank’s credit has grown by 20.35 per cent to Rs 16,969 million, states a press release. Similarly, the total deposits have also increased by 23 per cent to Rs 22,315 million over the preceding year. This sustained growth of the bank is attributable to its quality service and products, claims the company.
The bank provides a wide range of banking facilitates through a wide network of 23 branches. All the branches are interconnected through Anywhere Branch Banking Systems (ABBS). It is also opening its 24th branch in Lekhnath on February 28 that would provide a complete range of services to the area.
