KATHMANDU, JULY 24

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that Nepal's exports reached a record high of Rs 277.32 billion in the fiscal year 2081/82.

Taking to social media on Wednesday morning, PM Oli said exports increased by 81.80 percent compared to the previous fiscal year, when the total stood at Rs 152.38 billion.

"This year, we have achieved the highest export figure in Nepal's history, reaching Rs 277.32 billion," he wrote in Nepali, adding that the sharp rise reflects the government's effective policies and commitment to boosting trade.

The prime minister attributed the growth in exports to the government's initiatives since his administration took office.
